I can understand that like many other groups you only want 1 post per 24 hours but many others are far busier than what I ever saw in your group when i was a member ... so the 1 post per hour was not so crucial to yours because having more did actually make it look a more active group.
However to get round the only want 1 auction item post per 24 hours some groups set up albums via the photos section.. the group owner makes the initial group of clothes, then one for toys, one for collectables etc .. then ebid members upload thier pics to the specific album for what they are promoting. From what I have seen when a new person uploads it shows that album in the time line saying so and so and so many others have posted in the clothing album etc. It shows a pic of the latest up load BUT group owner could at their discretion if the group has not much action use the share button and plug an entire album by rotation
Should add that other groups I've seen do this delete the full album after 2 or 3 weeks so it doesnt get stale with same items..or if you sell the item the posted should delete it from the group or put sold in its description... if you date the album its easy to keep track.
This method is usefull for showing the variety of items that can be found on ebid..
Its just a suggestion that could boost membership of the group and not be so restrictive to members wanting to post more than just 1 newly listed item when the group is rather inactive.
On the discussion point .. you could set up weekly topics asking for peoples input for instance on Xmas toys past and present ( could maybe intice someone to post more toys on ebid ) or fashion colours, collectables etc, then make posts on the wall to announce the weeks topic and invite people to join in ... as a non member I can see whats posted on the wall so im sure others who must be able to if they are watching the group but not wanting to join.. ie making their mind up about it or about ebid iteself.
Just a few suggestion that can of course be totally ignored or others may be able to use the basics of what ive said to expand on to help make the group grow in numbers and activity.
Greetings E-bidders!

I like the weekly discussion idea, Hell's grandma!
The group could do with more and varied posts.
I'll go start a discussion now....

The group is going a bit quiet. Please post! I've tried to start discussions but I think kimbo is better at it than I am!
