all that is needed for paypal is an email address. You dont need to give out anything else. This site doesnt own ebid, and if you dont offer pickup from you, then you are not obliged to offer pickup services. It rings my alarm bells too.

I would definitly report the whole thing to ebid.

Interestingly I had a similar thing on ebay recently, with a buyer who bought two books being very insistant to come to my house to collect in person - I dont offer collection because I cannot usually rely on being in at any given time, I zoom in and out like a blue ended fly- , when I explained this, they got VERY pushy, and started asking things like who else lived in the house, what were their habits of being in or out... a very disturbing experience.

I never offer pick up just for that reason..........you just never know when some nutcase will come out of the woodwork. Most people are wonderful, but it only takes one.......good thing you are cautious. Stay safe!
