If there is a priority in this area it is losing the cheesey name! Otherwise, there are site improvements which are far more important.

If viewed as a payment system, it's priority exceeds Amazon (at this time); and broadens the way payments could be sent or received. This poll is not asking for the option to be implemented now. Just an option or idea that could be considered for eBid at some point in time. BTW, why do The Boyz have to do everything? Decentralization might be a handy structure for the growth trend.

P.S. Are you gate keeper to The Boyz time. :-)

As Buddy Points have no value (i.e. 1 Buddy Point is not equal to £x.xx), how can they be used as payment or for donation?

Obtain administrative permission to transfer your buddy points to me & I am sure I can find something to pay with them.

Say folks, this is just a simple suggestion. I thought eBid was the friendly forum where people got to express an opinion or make a suggestion. I guess Ebay is not the only place where people get knocked down just for asking a question. If you are attempting to get this thread pulled by starting an argument. you can continue on. ??? Just read this thread and I can't see anybody starting an arguement ? You asked for people's opinions on this matter and that is what has been given. Nobody has been rude so I don't understand the statement above ?

Hmmmm - I just read thru the thread (dont know why really, as I have no opinion on buddy points really - dont really care what happens to them) - but all I saw was folks giving their opinion.
It may be different to yours, but it is still there opinion.

Didnt actually see anyone get knocked.

Sounds like a good idea to me, especially the charitable donations part, though, as Mel already pointed out, I'm not sure how the idea of buddy points as currency would work.

1. I think that's because Amazon has dropped itself down to zero priority.
2. As a "one day" I'm all for it.
