Just had 7 time bombs thrown in to start going off shortly, I think i am going to have to stop eating as it's always when I am having dinner and there is no one to guard them![]()

Good morning! I am having iced coffee today, but for the traditionalists there will be the the hot variety and also tea. In spite of ant mosquito cream I have found new puncture sites on various parts of my anatomy. The way I am itching, I might resort to anti hystamines. Off to start the coffee machine..
morning Meebo thanks for the coffee beautifull day this morning Somer is still asleep family is in the process of waking up & im on drink duty here so to have mine made was good hope everyone is ok
Morning - looks like another glorious day! You have my sympathy re. the insect bites meebo - they always get me even if I'm wearing "eau de repellent" - it seems to make no difference. It's a good job the Captain hasn't sent me on a jungle mission yet... My right hand is currently like a balloon as i was nibbled by a red ant in the garden - luckily just the one as it could have been worse as I'd disturbed a nest when pulling weeds.
Coffee is lovely..
well. while England has a heat wave, we are forecast rain all day (just going to nip out to the post office before it starts...) so will have a lazy in-day . not decided what to do with it yet!!!
Those French ants are vicious they really hurt ! I always have to make sure I tuck my jeans into my socks to stop getting attacked when I'm weeding outside the French quarters. Maybe I should release a few into my stores to protect my listings !
As for mosquitos (shudders - can't stand that horrible whine outside the mosquito net at night !) they quite like me but it's poor Cadet Huw that they love. The poor lad gets covered in bites no matter what he uses. I'm very glad we don't get very many here in Bath.
Now that the weekend is over I shall expect much better recruitment figures for tomorrow. Good job the Ministry of Defence hasn't been closed down in Bath yet - orders in a lot more pototo peelers in from the Quarter Master just in case !

Morning everyone - salad weather (till tomorrow) so I've put the potato peeler away. she types hopefully
I am taking the opportunity to mix up a few gallons of hay-fever potion, for those of us so afflicted. Now I have plenty of tongue of frog, but I cant find any eye of newt anywhere. Must be climate change, or world shortage.
I have my hay fever solution to hand so i am okay on that but thanks for the offer. Also the only mosqies that get me are the Spanish ones and seeing the nearest i am going to get to Spain is looking at a postcard i think I will be fine and feeling good today apart from being stabbed in the back when i move the wrong way.
Don't worry Pte. Kite, according to Rupert Giles, salamander eyes are just as good and a fraction of the price.
Apologies to Pte. Cats for the weather - I think I've jinxed it. I spent a lot of yesterday preparing items to photograph and I had to put the lights on about 9am this morning so I could see what I was doing and I really need daylight for decent photos.
Listing figures are okay but don't go resting on your laurels. Remember the YDC finishes today so there'll be some sold items needing to be replaced.
