It's not a question of ranting at MSE - there are two people who just aren't listening and I've listing to do which is more likely to make my life better than continuing on that thread.

but are we listening to them, one of them said they tried ebid paid the money and sold nowt, so naturally there opinion would be low one of ebid, but they also put a link in there post directing the OP to another thread where the posters (from the first page i read) were saying how much they were selling on here, which would of given the OP plenty to think about,

its when other's went in and started having a go at them about there opinion that the thread started going sour, we dont all have the same opinions.

Ment to say there are however some brilliant post from some ebidders

There is grave doubt whether the person in question is telling the truth. I know it is easy to list in such a way that you sell nowt here!!! I could, also, help someone to recover that situation, but life is too short in that atmosphere.

Have to admit, I had a sinking feeling when I saw the title of this thread but the train-wreck over there is even worse than I imagined.

If people want to defend eBid's honour, please, just stick to facts and leave emotion out of it.

I think mrsk may, initially, have thought I was scotchebidder (hope she's changed her mind) but in case anyone does think it's me - I know which witch is which, which scotchebidder doesn't.

I like ebid forums and I like MSE forums but which one is better? There's only one way to find out... fight! (go on 's%$lin', get in there 'scot£*£b&dder' etc.). All a bit sad isn't it?

The reality is ebid works great for some and not so much for others. I currently run a business on ebay, list my personal stuff on ebid and I'm happy with the sales I'm getting from both sites.

BTW this particular thread has already been linked on MSE. It's pretty obvious who the cross-posters are by reading both threads... just a "heads-up" in case you want to keep your anonymity.

I found it very amusing that some posters were more interested in finding the identity of soolin rather than promote ebid.

    Its a strange world.

We all know that ebid is not for everyone, and that your not going to make massive money here, that it is a lot slower then ebay ect ect, if your happy with how it is ticking over for you here say that. but post in a postivie way, and what it has done for you not in an argumentative way
    Agree.

I Don't really think eBid needs "defending". Each to his own; whatever works for you - do it. I glismped at a few of the post. Just saw folk expressing an opinion. If the point made that this type of "defense" is never seen for the other venues, then the effect could do eBid more harm then good.

Well i stuck my 2 pence in for what it was worth and surprisingly didn't get shot down. Its true as mentioned before that we need to represent Ebid in a positive way without being too hard line. Trying to show things from all sides means you dont leave yourself or ebid open for an attack. People are far more likely to read and take note of such a post than they are someone sat there singing Ebids praises and refusing to hear a bad word about the place. Ebid I feel is the only true alternative to Feepay out there but sadly getting that message across without sounding *unhinged* lol i believe the term was used can be difficult. I also included my Ebid name so they could actually see for themselves that i wasn't just talking out of my behind and could back up my words with my success here.

I know and think others know that it is not you, I dont think you would conduct yourself that way, I think or almost know who they are
