Default eBid Stores - How Many Is Best?

Seller+ Members are allowed to have 5 fee-free stores. Does anyone think more that 5 stores are needed? Would you be willing to pay the small fee for additional store(s)? Does additional store improve your bottom line on eBid?

I am a seller+ member with 4 stores. Have product line(s) would like to offer but haven't done the 5th store yet. Slow sales may be the reason I haven't taken the plunge yet. Personally I could not see doing more than 5 stores unless sales picked up significantly on the site.

I am one of ''rare'' selers on eBid who open already 6th store........no big deal for extra fees because $1.99 is really nothing compared for eBay stores or dailly fees.......

Only have one , my theory is it saves potential buyers from having to keep changing pages

    I too have only one...
I had more and got myself very confused....
    This is easily done !

It all depends on what you sell and your preferences.

If a buyers SEES it and WANTS it then it doesn't really matter how many stores you have.

Always remember that effective marketing is the key to increasing sales so use stores to suit yourself BUT make sure you let people know what you have and WHERE YOU ARE!!!

I use all five on my personal id - Each has a distinct character. I don't have the sales to justify a 6th, even if I could think what to do with it.
    Madelaine

4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
    My Postcard Shop
    BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
    & Yarnalong for craft patterns
    and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.

I only have one here at the moment but that's purely because I'm new here - I fully intend to open at least one further store with a different style of prints. I feel the ability to keep different lines seperate to be good.

Yes, you are the rare seller. It would be interesting to see how this directly impacts your bottom line.

I plan to stick with the 5 store range until sales levels on those 5 justify a need for more. I agree that it is not the number of stores, but what you do with the stores you have. I know I need to increase listings and build the categories that already exist across the 4 stores that I already have. Once that has been accomplished, the 5th store will go up.
