Sales down by 75%!!!!!!

So disappointed, only made 3 sales in April, thats a reduction in sales of 75% on previous months! Anyone else finding the same pattern?
Have been trying to entice new sales by adding loads of summer clothes etc so hopefully will pick up again. Fingers crossed!

For me, it was the best month since joining ebid. Sold 36 items. I hope this continues.

Its not that I don't like them its just that I noticed that many About Me's have pics of cats or dogs.
I like cats and dogs and Elk's
I just wonder if a picture of the seller would give a new buyer more trust that the person's cat.
Or even a picture of their house or business ?

Well Julie - I stay in a multi-storey flat! And nice though the flats look, how much confidence do you think a pic of THAT would inspire? Nada to zero I would guess!

Same her but have picked up in the last few days, 3 sales this week. The nature of my items that I sell and the warmer weather traditionally seem to mean that I sell less during the summer months, they always pick up around late August and Sepember, so I usually concentrate on adding to stock items in the quieter months and enjoy the Summer while waiting for the sales boom once the weather turns. Im happy with this site id like to sell more but at least im not paying riduculous fees to list even if items dont sell im still in profit, unlike the other sites where lack of sales stil meant high fees. What have you got to lose nothing i would say once you have paid your liftetime seller fees you are quids in

Hi I have to amend my OP, can now say sales were actually down by 50% NOT 75%, had a wee flurry right at end!
As Happyhammers avoe states I've too had a few sales , 3 in last couple of days and all new to ebid. It will be interesting if all pay, one has so far. Fingers crossed now the bank / public holidays are past that folks are starting to brose again. Fingers croosed for all trying to sell, especially the folks above that aren't having much success thus far. Juliebabe had a great point. I do agree its worth taking out the lifetime membership as you will recoup the money. It does take a bit of work though. It does help using the forums and always worth making your listings as attractive as you can , I list for 3 days mainly and relist that 10 times. It does help too to have a buy it now price, I try to make that just a penny over my starting prices. I never use list till sold ! Best luck to all for this month!!!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a major sale . Bet the seller couldn't believe it! Can you imagine the seller fees on other side if it had sold there instead!!!!!
