Here are a few general tips.
Join as a Seller+ for lifetime if you can.
This gives you the best deal and also makes you commit to selling on ebid.
Add a pic in your About Me page
And some info on you and your shipping and selling policies in your About Me page.
Add a gallery pic to all of your listings
Make your lists BIN for 7 days with 10 auto-relists, that way they will get sent to Google GPS and they will rise up in the ebid listings and they will get seen.
Post in the forums
Post in the Plug Your Auction forum (once a day max)
Don't expect huge sales in the first week

It is not a place to advertise your website!

And linking or mentioning you own website that has an e commerce cart set up is against ebid's rules and your posts will be removed.

Hi Guys, my nickname is JudasKiss76 and I've been living in London for four years. I'm originally from Italy and I'm planning to live in the Uk forever!
I love this country (yeah, despite the NHS :P)
I'm here on ebid because I'm tired of Ebay (too expensive, and they don't even allow me to sell more than a certain amount of similar items).
I usually sell very good branded beauty and cosmetic products, dvd, videogames, and whatever i don't need anymore (a bit of hi-tech etc).

Important help for you ...

Add eBid to your address book to stop emails being classed as Spam ...

This is important because if the emails sent to you from eBid are filtered as 'Spam' or end up in your 'Junk' folder, it will trigger off a 'strikethrough' on your user name, (meaning that you'd be effectively 'suspended') until you fixed the problem. It's a horrible thing to have happen, (happened to me), so please fix that first by reading the following:

Welcome sellsell and all.....click on the help button top right of page, then look at left column of the page it takes you to.....has FAQ''s on many things..........be sure to read these......very helpful on the do's and don'ts here. Also there are several great threads by astral and bykimbo that will help you get going. If you can't find the answer on the forums after you look around, do ask!!

I am new here, I just registered here on April 17 2011 so I have only been here for 11 days, and have 2 stores with 85 items combined.
