Hi everybody, My name is Scott and I am another E-bay refugee. I am in Lutz Florida. I just paid my 49.99 for the lifetime sellers thing and will be listing soon. I sell mostly CDs and DVDs but I will list anything that I think will sell and ship. It is my opinion that this site will be very competitive with e-bay mostly due to e-bays greed. They were making more than me on a 5.99 sale. Right now I have about 800 listings on ebay that I will move here as they end. I have a lot to learn and surely will be posting dumb questions on the forum soon. Lets show Greedbay how it's done!

Well hi neighbor. I too live in Lutz. Glad you found us. I always recommend watching the HTVs [link below my signature] when setting up your first store. The HTVs are wonderful! If you still get stuck, come back to the forums and someone will be along to assist.

Hey there everyone "listening".
I just joined yesterday. I'm here in South Carolina, United States. I came over from another auction site whos name is unworthy to be typed. I've been selling (and buying!!!) on the internet for a little over a year now and decided, after way too many hassles elsewhere, to try a new venue. So far this seems like a good spot to rest my bones and contemplate my future. The people are super friendly/helpful and the site is pretty user friendly as well. There's a lot to learn but I have time. Like most of you, my hope is that eventually eBid will gain even more momentum and viewers everywhere will know it by name. Every good thing has to start somewhere and it looks like HERE is a pretty good place. Gods blessings on you all and your sales, all the time. Angela =)

Welcome to all the new members !

Here are a few general tips.
Join as a Seller+ for lifetime if you can.
This gives you the best deal and also makes you commit to selling on ebid.
Add a pic in your About Me page
And some info on you and your shipping and selling policies in your About Me page.
Add a gallery pic to all of your listings
Make your lists BIN for 7 days with 10 auto-relists, that way they will get sent to Google GPS and they will rise up in the ebid listings and they will get seen.
Post in the forums
Post in the Plug Your Auction forum (once a day max)
Don't expect huge sales in the first week
