Hi folk first off - please don't tell me this is on the wrong forum. I just need some info PLEASE! I've been having multiple problems accessing eBid, etc and have already started a thread on Web Glitches.

It now appears that the fault may not lie with eBid, so I'm doing a process of elimination. My ISP is Talktalk and there's another member who has that ISP having similar problems to me. What I now need to know is, are there any members using Talktalk who are NOT having similar problems?

I have never heard of it. I use only Google Chrome on eBid

Sorry, Nancy, I've never heard of TalkTalk either, (I use Time Warner Cable/Road Runner), though if other things have been eliminated, that may just be the issue.

Here's hoping someone comes along to assist soon.

At one time i had this problem with AOL (now owned by TalkTalk).I emailed them with Ebids site address saying i could not access them and the next day all was well.They did not have them on their data base.

SherMari & SuesJools - Sorry girls - Talktalk is UK based.

SPYDER - I've been with Talktalk for years and never had this problem. It's really getting to me. One minute I can access something, next I can't. That's why I'd like to know if there are any members who use Talktalk but AREN'T having problems. Then somebody may be able to figure out what the heck is going on!

Wouldn't mind if I could refresh and go! But that just isn't working. I did a full System Restore today - way back to 28 March - hoping that would work. NOPE!

Tech friend of mine says microsoft keep upping security in updates to computer so see if Firefox is still on the allow list in windows firewall.If not let it through.Might help.

allow a programe through windows firewall
Change settings
Allow another program
browse
