Here it is cloudy tonight at mine (North West) so there is no chance.
I've just been standing outside, looking up the the skies - nothing. What I find is a little scary is the way it affects technology because there have, apparently, been reports of being disrupted.

I wish I cold see them but will have to make do with this

We used to see them often when we lived in Wisconsin. Not that far north, on the southern shore of Lake Superior. I've heard they're sometimes visible further south, but not THIS far! One of the few things I miss living here. The most spectacular displays were late at night, but it would be well worth missing some sleep if there's any chance to see them.

Seen them several times......from Iceland, Faroe Islands, and on one occasion from Dingwall in the north of Scotland.

Never forget them - the most incredible sight I have ever seen.
(apart from once when I caught a glimpse of myself nekkid in the mirror)

I heard about this solar storm yesterday.

Just been outside with my dogs (2.20 am) - normally the birds are singing and chirping all night long.
Tonight..........total silence - not one little chirp.

    Co-incidence?

LOL! Now there's another coffee moment.

That pic is lovely, wish there was something to see around here besides cats and junk.

Oh well, time to feed the kitties and get some reading in.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

This is when I wish I lived in the country - or well away from light pollution at least! The last time the Northern Lights were visible here I missed them. I was about crying cos I've got a "thing" about the Aurora Borealis! They absolutely FASCINATE me and it's always been a wish of mine to see them for real!

I've just had a wee look and it's far too overcast to see anything!
