Thanks to all, I'm not leaving, this site is TOPS, (and so are its members). eBid is investigating the matter and have suspended the account in the interim. Paypal, unfortunately, isn't nearly as customer supportive, or as efficient, but I'm hoping for the best.
Good for you, Sue!! We need your smiling bit of sunshine here at eBid!! Okay, back on subject...one tip for anyone who has that potential scam buyer in the making....ALWAYS....ALWAYS! keep copies of every single piece of emails back and forth, even telephone calls if possible....because that is your "ace in the hole" when it comes to dealing with PayPal in disputes...just FYI for anyone who wasn't aware...

Since I don't use paypal to print my shipping labels, I enter the tracking info manually into paypal's site. This might be something you wish to do in the future. That way paypal has the tracking info in their system should a buyer claim non-delivery.

Hope this helps. Don't give up selling on ebid. We need you.
That is exactly what I do. I thought everyone did with Paypal payments.

Thanks, Mary, just the pepper upper I needed while I wait for Paypal to decide what to do to me. Unfortunately, there was no contact except through the AAL when I posted items shipped, etc.. The buyer NEVER contacted me about the so-called missing items that USPS delivered, (according to the tracking numbers), 2 days before they filed the dispute with Paypal; that in itself should be enough to wake those Paypal clowns up, if anything is.

Jan, how do you input the tracking info. into Paypal? I've never done that; OK, call me stupid, but a lot of technology just goes over my head.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

To put the tracking info into paypal, just log into your PP account, then you'll see your transactions. There is a drop down list with each transaction...right side. Click on drop down list, then you'll see shipped, then you'll see add tracking info. Choose the shipping (i.e. USPS, then you'll see a place to add tracking #). Once you put in tracking #, paypal will automatically send buyer an email that package has shipped and the tracking #. I hope I got the sequence right on the drop-down list, but if you log into PP, look for transactions, it will become apparent. Hope this helps.

I am sorry but I seem to have missed something here because I have no idea what the problem now is and why this thread is still carrying on.

Why do you need to give PayPal the tracking info as you have refunded the buyer so its no longer needed. If you have refunded the buyer properly through the original transaction PayPal automatically closes the dispute. Theres nothing for PayPal to decide to do.
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

I was just suggesting that in the future Suejools input the tracking info into her paypal records when package is shipped. That way if buyer claims non-delivery, the tracking info is already in paypal's records/site.

To log my shipping details, I click on the 'details' link transaction and scroll to the bottom of the page. You'll see the Shipping bit:

    Shipping:
[ Print Packing Slip | Add Tracking Info ]

Click on the tracking info and fill in the details as prompted.

Not just Suejools, but every seller should do it.
