I've dropped her an email and given her supports email just in case she can't get to the forums either. No idea whats wrong, but I'm sure its something thats an easy fix

I imagine it's an easy fix from support's point of view - just might be a detriment to LesliesDaughter, as now, if I weren't a nice person, I could outbid her on some auctions...............I assume she can't get to bidding or listing or forums........very odd.

just to update you - I've had a reply back from LesliesDaughter - she's as baffled as we are.

She is worried that people will think that she's ignoring them as she won't be able to send invoices or payment - she can't even check the status on her own listings at the moment. She's been in touch with support and is waiting on a reply from them. If you can bear with her as she tries to get the problem solved.

You're right on that one - she can't bid, check her listings, pay for her winnings or anything that involves eBid. She's quite baggled to be honest, as everything was ok last night when she shut down, and she was able to sort somethings out first thing today, but somewhere along the way, eBid just shut her out. She's waiting on support to come back to her, but until they do, she's stuck.

I'm sure she'll be chuffed at that. Of all the days for it to happen, it has to be today when she needs to be here to see to things - with any luck support will be on hand to do the fix so she'll be back with us soon.

Funnily enough - someone on fb was saying yesterday that they'd been given a blanket ban from eBid site & forums and he couldnt' think of the reason as to why. I hope it isn't a new practise just to see who is and isn't paying attention.

Mystery bans are usually an email, er, mess-up (bowdlerised!) Like JaBek's accidentally reporting an ebid email as spam yesterday - reporting ebid as a spammer causes them a lot of grief so I guess they have automatic systems to flag those who do so in case it's malicious. Pure guesswork, but something like that must go on I think.
