Seems the arctic blast will bring in 20cm of snow this week. So we'll end up with no grit as the councils will run out again and the whole country will come to a grinding halt.

Oh Craig... are you alwuz so negative? I doubt even we will run out of grit in just one week. We didnt run out last year like the press stated in fact there was plenty of salt, and I should know as the mine is just down the road from me. All that hype we heard was the councils blaming the lack of salt when in actual fact THEY had run out of money to pay for it.
