Default Would be great to have an auction site which doesn't allow business users

I feel it would be great for all us individuals to have an auction website that is dedicated to us rather than to businesses, our items seem to get lost in among all their stuff and it's hard competing with wholesale selling as I suspect quite a lot are like me, just wanting to downsize our collections and earn a bit of pocket money.

Well.. kinda.. but that would have to include Drop-Shippers also.
I do see your point.. but there are Thousands of 1 and 2 people companies. So your point has been made, but very difficult to implement.

I know what you mean, but I don't think that it applies to ebid by any means.
Feebay is full of large sellers.
And don't forget that selling on feebay was promoted as a way of people making extra cash or building a business.

If you want to have a site with not many listings there are plenty of very small sites.

There are dozens of sites around that match your requirements.

To be honest, I agree in that it is nice to have a site where the items of small hobby sellers can be found easily, without them being drowned by very huge amounts of listings from other sellers - one reason why I settled with eBid. Whilst eBid does have business sellers, some with thousands of listings - there are also a huge amount of smaller sellers who do quite well with their sales - myself included.

Um, I know what you are getting at, but under English law I'm classed as a business as I buy to sell even though I'm just an individual the same as a lot of other small sellers. Maybe the term 'company' would be more appropriate rather then branding all 'business' sellers as having a monopoly over things.

It would be an interesting one to police! You'd have to ban all your best sellers on the grounds that if they were selling that much they must be a business.
