Oh Private Meebo is a soldier of many talents Private Cats! I expect now she has a nice big garden she will be growing all the vegetable rations for the troops. (Captain Jewels will be putting in her orders for freshly grown supplies to sell in the shadows at Leith central station very soon !)

I made a batch of marmalade this morning, we are also getting experts at putting together Ikea Billy shelves after putting together 8 Ikea Pax bedroom wardrobes. I am still surrounded by boxes and I have a table full of bottles (Did I hear the sarge's tank start up?) Everything is looking for a home. Son has arrived to start on the last bit of plastering - ceiling of the landing and the wall by the stairs. so all the cleaning I did earlier this week will be undone in a matter of minutes. Ah well....

Whew! AND she makes marmalade!! No end to the talent! I should go pick some blackberries today.....I love making blackberry jam (I just freeze it, not can it). A touch of cardomom is the perfect addition.

I will have to make some plum jam from plums I have frozen, as I am running out of freezer space.
