    Default Adults only category

Will it be possible for you to put Adults Only as a category by itself and not under Whatever's left? This way, adults looking for adult only items will find the items they are looking for easily (after age verification) and not have to figure out if ebid has adults only items. Doing it this way, "Adults Only" items are hidden but not too hidden that those adults who need them won't be able to find them either.

Subcategories for "Adults Only" could include condoms, lubricant, pumps/penis extenders, vibrators, dildos, masturbators, dolls, adult books, adult dvds, extremely sexy lingeries, adult games . Vibrators and masturbators could be subcategorized again with discreet types and those realistic looking.

Also, if you do place Adults Only in a category by itself, will it be possible for you to suggest "Adults Only" category to people who search for vibrators, sex toys, dildo, masturbators or blow up dolls instead of showing 0 (zero) items found or showing only items that are not sexually oriented? This way, people will know ebid has those items but that one needs their age verified before they could see those available items. Currently, when people type in the word sex toys, it will show lubricants or book with keywords sex and toy somewhere on the title. Why not suggest to people that they can find sex toys like vibrators/dildos in the new Adult Category?

    Thanks for reading this far.

If Adults only was a top level category, it would be the first one.

If they are going to do that I suggest the category is renamed XXX, to make it the last one

Xrated and Adult is good but I like it better as Adult and Xrated.:-) Or how about using the much searched for word "Sex Toys" as a separate category? That way, it's going to be clear what's in there. We're all over 18 here aren't we?

Surely there are adult items that are not specifically sex toys? I think X-rated (prefer it with the usual hyphen) is good, if this were to happen. Not sure how necessary it is - I think most buyers search rather than browse when they don't know a site that well. Once they've learned their way about enough to browse the problem's gone away.

Oops, I forgot the hyphen too! X-rated is good but then not all sex toys are X-rated. Some people who might use sex toys might not even want X-rated items and be turned off by it. I tried using search for the words vibrators and sex toys but only those that are NOT in "Whatever's left" category comes up which is a problem. Those in whatever's left (adult items) don't show up. It would be nice if people are given a link or clue on where to find those items when they search for it.

i would love the adult category to be moved from the whatevers left. that way i can put my £1 store back online. not that i mind people having these stores i just think they should have their own category.

*an unfortunate phrase, in the circumstances. ;o)
