Lifetime membership. Seller + .....Problem

Am I being dense?
On the front page there is an offer to sign up during April for £ 50.
When I click the link, it takes me to the page where i have the option on whether to be a short term seller, year seller or a lifetime one. On the lifetime option it still says £ 75, and when I click on, it invites me to pay by PayPal £ 74.99

How do I get it for £49.99???

The offer is open for 24hrs after joining and also 24hrs after upgrading to anything apart from Seller+ Lifetime.

GAZZA!Does this mean if i upgrade to the Seller+7days at £1.99 i can get the seller+lifetime that is currently £75 for £49.99?

If this is not the case are there ever likely to be any special offer periods in the future when Seller+ lifetime reverts to £49.99 for all?

I am really split on the upgrade,i totally want it and totally don`t want to clean my paypal account out which £75 would do! Again,due to being entirely split on the possible [possibly unlikely]effect it might have on my sales.

I have 80 plus items up but have only ever sold 8 items.If the answer is no to both questions is it really totally totally worth it?Can anyone recommended it?

I think what i`m saying is it absolutely worth it?

Are you planning a lot of listings?

The offer was on for over a year (nearly 2 year) until it ended in January this year which is still worth the outlay if you are going to be doing a lot of listings.

I look at it in the context of £75 being 1500 auctions (£49.49 is just 990 auctions) so thats 99 auctions reposted 10 times at 5p for the platinum auction

This Special Offer needs to be sorted out so that people can understand it. There seems to be a lot of queries about it from new members who are confused about it.
