Excessive Capitalisation

Google have been removing a few users uploaded auctions due to "Excessive Capitalisation" in their their auctions.

Are they removing ones with titles that are all Capitals, or those whose description is, or is it a mixture of both?

On some forums if you start to type in all capitals you get a warning popup, could something like that,
ie

Advisory notice, you are typing all in capitals, is your Caps Lock, switched on?
Please be advised Google Products, may reject your listing upload, due to Excessive Capitalisation.

As long as it could be suppressed by the user, if they didn't want to take heed of the advice, it shouldn't prove too annoying.

Interesting link. No knife sales, no adult items, and no all caps. At least they make it plain and clear.

I used to do all my titles in capitals until people here advised me not to but I do still use quite a few in my listing.

Do you think that would affect my listings with Google ?

I think what is meant is block text all in caps, also, titles all in caps.

Google want regular use of grammar, normal sentences like we learned in school, starting with a capital letter and then the usual lower case text like you see here in this sentence.

Your Title - Header Can Look Like This

or your header like this in lower case

BUT NOT LIKE THIS IN UPPER CASE

Or you can EMPHASIZE like this in a header or description.

Just DON'T do EVERYTHING in CAPS (besides, it's very hard to read all cap text anyway).

Gazza only said some are being rejected, hence his warning.

Obviously you've been lucky so far, but if you suddenly find your items are not showing, then at least you'll have an idea what you need to do to rectify it.
