I have no interest in what happens on other sites and as soon as i see another thread about them i go and do something more interesting like watching paint dry.As for asking advice about ANOTHER site AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH makes me want to scream.

I agree, and I've gone so far as to add posts on some threads to that effect. I don't see any reason to complain about other sites here. I can't do anything to help. The only site that interests me now is eBid (except for checking other sites to undercut their prices).

Being a newbie here I did find myself in a rant or 2 about another place,I think when it comes to new members they(or at least I) felt the need to vent and although it may not be the menu for it,I do not think a lot of new members realize how much it bothers current members.
They come over after years of frustration and in a moment of sheer awe at the site and its stucture of freedom and finally being freed(so to speak)may feel the need to vent

I do understand where you guys are coming from,if I had to view thread after thread for years of new members throwing a rant I would become inclined to stop reading them,but new members more than likely have no idea how many posts there are to this effect and not knowing how it does get under some folks skin, if nothing else want to blow off some steam

I know in my case I did and to be honest it felt better

My complaint in the OP was more about older members who run down other sites over and over again, sometimes even with downright misleading statements.
