I contacted them yesterday with regards to the landline service and tv, Landline doesn't work properly rings once then crackiling or a constant number busy when people call. TV freezes during programs. Well I got an email today back from them saying they tried to phone me on the landline number and couldn't get through and could I phone them back up to arrange a few tests and arrange for an engineer to be called out.

Duh....I told them the landline didn't work so why try??

Mags, they asked me to phone them on 150 from the landline which is impossible cause the line don't work. I've tried different phones and its the same problem

They need to try tests all round - with them calling you, you trying to call them, to see if they can get the crackling replicated etc etc.
Just call them from someone else's phone and arrange a call out now

Just for info - Virgin give out refunds quite easily if things aint running smooth.
(at least ive had no problems getting them)
