    Default security at airport

ok folks , how do you feel about the new propasal for scanning people at the airport....where the machine can see all...I have heard a few complaints allready...but what is safety worth ? , should we be sujected to this type of search....
if it means safer flights , then the answer must be , YES , when we came through Sharm el Sheikh last week....no one , nobody , said ..leave your liquids or what liquids do you have / no one asked if I had any sharps...no one asked if anyone had asked us to take something on board...there was LITTLE or NO SECURITY there...soI just wonder how people feel about the new machine....I think it should be used......papa.

You have just stated the "lack of security" at a foreign airport and I have heard many such stories. I think nowadays, it is already pretty hard to get on board with "something nasty" if you're flying from a UK airport, but if they want to introduce even more security measures, then so be it. It may make our outbound flights even safer, but we do have to come back again and one can only hope that the security on the return journey is adequate!

Trouble is Jean we always get frisked by a woman

Last time I was at the airport my knee kept setting the bleeper off. She called 2 other women over and tried another scanner but it still kept happening.
I was marched off to this little room and told to drop my trousers. We never did find out what caused it.

It was actually done in a friendly manner and we all laughed about it. I knew I had done nothing wrong so was okay about it.
Now if that had been men instead of women ...woohoo
