I recently had an enquiry on one of my pens. The buyer was left handed and was asking if I had any suitable pens. I also am left handed and told him about a pen that worked for me. He then asked if it was not suitable would I give him a full refund. In this instance I said I would but not return postage.
He placed a bid on one of my higher priced pens plus he purchased a buy it now pen. i sent the buy it now pen off to him and he emailed me this morning saying it was very nice but he found the nib scratchy ( I found this pen a lovely smooth writer). could he exhange it for another (a third pen)?
As the pen he has already received doesnt suit him I am now doubtful as to wether the higher priced pen will suit him either. Altho we are both left handed we must have different writing styles. I emailed him to that effect stating that each time i get a return i loose out on the postal charges and fees and that i couldnt keep doing that. (I initally thought it would only be one pen returned if it was not suitable). I also said that i can cancel his bid on the higher priced pen.
the auction goes off around 7pm today. I havnt heard back from him. My question is I dont want to sell him another pen only to have it returned as not suitable again. Can I blackball this buyer? would this cancel his bid and get my fees back, its quite a high priced pen?
