If the last login was right underneath there Username(whether on a listing or All About Me page) it would make it easier to know if a member is on regularly or not.

It would let buyers know if a sellers is regularly on the site, or if they haven't been on for 5 months. And it would let sellers know if buyers are ignoring invoices.

Positive = For it.
Neutral = Don't really care.
Negative = Against it.

To know if they are currently logged on and an instant messaging feature would be awesome, but simply the date would make it apparent if members are active on the site.

Why don't you just wait and see what is implemented in the re-vamp. The guys are unlikely to do anything new until it is up and running.
