Grapes are also a big no no for diabetics too unless your sugars are low.

Bananas are a big no no for people with heart conditions as they are very high in potassium, the odd one is fine.
They are not too good for you if you have a kidney function problem too for the same reason.

Grapefruit are an absolute no no for anyone taking Statins, in particular Simvastatin, the grapefruit prevents the drug being processed by the liver resulting in an eventual overdose and death.

So much for five a day eh!

Not according to every bit of dietry advice through the Diabetes specialists I have had on Diabetes since my son developed Diabetes in 1986

When counting carbohyrates, while not being a 'free' food, grapes can be included in the carbohydrate count in meals, so long as the meal includes slow acting carbohydrates as in starch based foods such as flour, potatoes etc.

Thankfully, I'm not inclined to go to chat forums for dietry advice.

I have never had a flu shot, don't intend to start now. Besides, most of the fatalities here have been children and people with other problems, not healthy adults. They're short on the vaccine, so I'll let someone who really needs it have mine.

    And I hate needles.
