To my sister's youngest, CJ, and his wife was born a son whom they named CJ, Jr. Apparently, CJ the younger decided that he had had enough and entered this world approximately two months early. He weighed in at a mere 2½ pounds but is doing well, although his pre-mature arrival has landed him an extensive stay in the hospital.

I'd post pictures, but the little guy doesn't appear very photogenic in his incubator so I'll forgo that until he's gained a little more cuteness and a few more pounds. However, I hope you'll join me in wishing him and his parents all the best.

His father, BTW, is a United States Marine who could not wait to join up. Is it any wonder the kid didn't have the patience to wait the full nine months to be born?

Congratulations, I am sure he will grow quickly and be a healthy little guy ready to go home to mom and dad.

When does he get one of those neat hats?

My wife says they've made great strides in the neonatal care field.
