    I very much doubt if money is the motivation to continue working at 81, probably does it becuase he enjoys it.

    Brucie is right, but his words about having to cut back when we're all in difficult times as he sat there in his big leather chair in front of his wood-panelled room with big fire place, well I highly doubt he's seen hard times for at least 50 years and is ever likely to. I think a disgraced entertainer such as Jonathan Ross should not be able to just slip back into his massive salary either, they should take a punishment in the form of a regular salary like the rest of us get.

    You can't really say if entertainers are overpaid. Like so many groups they are paid not on their worth but on what the going rate for the job group they are in and by their ranking within that group. Clearly someone like Bruce can earn his employers a lot of money and so deserves his fair cut of that.

    Saying that amount is fair when you compare it to what someone like a fireman can take home is hard to justify.

    Sadly we do not live in a fair world.

    Took him years ago in my Cab and i dont think its ever been about money with him , he just loves show buisness .
