Goverment intrest free loans

i'm after replacing my boiler, I want to change to a combi boiler, mine's the old tank jobby one, not energy efficiant at all.

I wondered if goverment had something in place for the likes of me who are not entitled to any grants

I know that carbon trust do free interst loans to help reduce the carbon footprint, but thats just for businesses

No i'm not entitled to a grant, and done mind getting a loan, just wondered if i could get an interest free one.

What ever you do, buy the boiler yourself (but don't open the box) as you will save loads

i actually read that somewhere rainy but how how do i know which one to buy and, all his is beyond me lol

There was something on TV last week about someone having a problem with Warm Front, the government scheme, they had no heating or hot water for 18 months, so be wary about 'schemes'

BTU is the main thing,

1) are you replacing the rads at the same time?
2) If so are you replacing them like 4 like?
3) if not you will need to measure them and let me know so that I can work out what sort you need. I will go to a supplier and find what the trade prices are and let you know.

Most trades people add 10-20% on the purchase price, this can work out to be a lot extra IYKWIM

I heard about that, but i am not entitled to most had my loft insulated and they really cocked it up. this lad done it, and just laid it everywhere all over the beams, thats all i was entitled to with warm front

Not repalacing Rads well not yet, just the boiler at the mo want to change from an conventional to a combi, I know that extra pipe work will need to be done.

mine is working but not efficently and it's costing me
