I was looking at stores and saw some have not been looked at since April or even before. Some have gotten negative feedback for this. Seems to be hurting ebids reputation. I love this site and want it to flourish what should we as honest sellers do to help this situation?

I don't see what we can do - did you have any ideas yourself?

It's a problem that ebid themselves have to face up to. I daresay they are worried about a drop in the number of listings, but it seems a little pointless chasing worthless numbers if it is detracting from the site. I suggest they write to dormant sellers and institute the required regular login that everyone has suggested.

Maybe a date clock under a sellers Username. Like Myspace has. But would have to have a large Font, like double the Username size so people will actually notice it.

    (from the spare lappy)

I certainly hope so. The O and the K are still missing this morning. Oh, the irony.

I must agree .... it is time eBid did something.....they are quick to stop other site being spoken about ....and as ken says....I would rather look at 1million auctions that were genuine....than looka at 1.1/2 million which had half of them that were not available....no one is going to come here if they keep seeing bad lististings.....so come on eBid....do your part....help those that are tring to help you.....papa.

I see nothing wrong in requiring sellers with listing active to sign periodically. I would never depend solely on email notifications.

The thing is eBid already have the technology to end auctions after a set period of time and they "use" it.
