Default Would you wrestle a lion given the chance?

I think I'm probably too old and slow to risk this these days , but a few years ago I'd have jumped at the chance.

I can truthfully say, hand on heart, that the thought of wrestling a lion has never crossed my mind. Nor will it.

Aw come on you lot... a real, live, honest to goodness lion. How cool would that be? They're gorgeous!

Lions are impressive. Black bears are gorgeous and have deceptively sweet faces (until they get angry). Cougars are beautiful. Timber wolves are among the loveliest animals in the world, especially a pack running full out.

All my favorite animals are predators . . . from a safe distance. They all have two things in common, they're unpredictable wild animals and they have big sharp teeth.

I'll pet my lazy, spoiled, domesticated kitties. I would love to take a trip to Africa to watch lions, provided I was in a very safe vehicle.
