Internet security is a joke

I knew this was the wrong place to post this imformation. People put too much trust in their antivirus. They scan all the files in your computer. They do updates in the background that you do not even see. What stops a disgruntled employee from walking out with your imformation stored on a usb storage device or transferred to another server from work? Internet security is a huge problem nowadays. Ask the banks and credit card companies. That's why I started a blog to post imformation. An auction site has people struggling to make listings. This is abit more advanced stuff.

I didn't realize you worked in the computer industry and had received this information first hand.

Why do you even post here? I try and bring some imformation to light and you answer with sarcasm. There is no one person who knows it all. I'm no expert and will be the first to admit it. I have spent 30 years on computers and I'm a webmaster. That does not mean alot but I'm aware of some things. Have I done something to you personally? I've never bought off you or will I. You started the smart remarks if you look through the thread. If some one has something worth while to add that would be great. I'm all for expanding my mind instead of keeping it shut.

Because I told you the first post you made (which obviously you deleted) was an old hoax and you became very sore over it and also made remarks about my husband and what he does for a living. Now where could that thread be?

Actually, I would be very worried if I couldn't remember what I said in posts on the first couple of pages...especially if I was also accusing people of the same things I'd done.

May I ask what imformation is?

Is it the same as information? Or is it a different form of information?

Some people presume too much. I never deleted that thread. It just vanished for no reason. Not by me. Shows how good the internet is. And for the record I never said anything about your husband. You just made that up. You said he was a security expert and I said I did not really care what he does. Still do not. I started a new thread because people had answered and I thought it rude not to carry on the topic. I will delete this one though in abit. Trying to have an intelligent conversation is no use with some people. It's like banging your head on the wall. The sooner you stop, the sooner it quits hurting.
