    Default Ymmmmmmmmmmmmy

    Not very often I have a full fry-up for brekky (even at this time of the day), but was just in the mood for one.

    Just had fried bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread, black puddin, couple of runny eggs, and beans.

    Had forgotten how tasty that was!

    Burp.

    Ah now I understand ~ was a tad worried that your clocks had stopped.

    And stop posting stuff like that please~ I makes me hungry and I don't have time today to make all that.

    What added extra flavour to this was........

    I fry a lot of food in oil and mustard seeds. Get the oil hot, then drop in a load of black mustard seeds, so they pop, and leave for a minute so the flavour goes all the way through.
    Last night I had chicken fried this way.

    The frying pan still had the mustard seed oil in it today, so this added so much extra flavour to all the fried stuff.

    You can make a lot of flavored oils using the same method. I also like to make flavored vinegars.

    Yup - am always adding various spices etc to my oils.
    Just that black mustard seeds are my fav.

    I do the same to mashed potatoes.
    When mashing, add a heaped spoon of various spice powders - from Chicken Massala, bbq, mustard, - anything!
    My spice cupboard is absolutely jammed - been using the same on-line seller for couple of years now (tried to get him to come over here, but he wont)
