Silly questions such as, does anybody here sell anything?, get on my nerves. Obviously the answer is yes..duh.
I'm sorry for the rant. I just dislike ignorance.![]()

Just think people need reasuring, but if people think they can make a living out of selling on ebid, the answer would be simply ...... No
Think is is really just causal selling site ebid,
Life is serious but taking it too seriously robs you of
happiness, fun and productivity
I agree that one can't make a living on ebid alone, but I wouldn't say "casual" as that sounds rather relaxed and as if it's for hobbyists only. I'd say it makes a perfectly good supplementary site for professional sellers.
Yes, I understand that part and I agree. I don't view asking such a silly question as a need for reassurance. I think the reason is more in line with what you just brought up. They think this will be very much like e**y as far as the HUGE amount of traffic it receives and if their item/items do not sell within a certain time frame then there is something wrong with the site itself.
As far as I am concerned, it is nothing to do with sales - it is down to getting my items noticed on various sites.
My sales here are less than 0.20% of my total on-line sales - so when rounding up or down they are zero.
I would however say that yes, SOME people get sales here, but I wouldnt hazard a guess at how many. (dont think it would be a high figure)
I have however got several wholesale enquiries and orders thru here, which is more important to me.

I think the reason that it doesn't get the traffic is because of the lack of Auctions.and when you do find an auction it is usually BID £8.99
BUY IT NOW £9.00
