just on the cold sell calls , does anyone know if this still works ????
ifyou were to get a call , and you just left your phone lying ( did not hang up ) the caller could not make another call.....I know this used to be the case ...but wonder if it is still the same....( not mobiles )............papa.

Make the most of it. Too soon will come the day when you would give anything to hear your mother's voice again - even just for a minute.

No, don't think that works any more. I've got a cordless phone and sometimes find out after 15 minutes - or 50 - that I haven't hung up properly! Am sure I'm not the only who does that and I know that after a short delay (a minute or so after the other person has hung up?), the other person can make calls again.
