Welcome! There are no exact counts of how many visit or use eBid, but eBid is #2 on listings right behind the "dark side".

I do not know what some of the people responding in this thread are basing the ‘we’ upon in respect of views about eBay. If there are some good features on eBay or other similar sites which would help sales on eBid then their implementation on eBid should be considered where possible. People on eBid who have their own personal issues with eBay cannot claim to speak for the eBid membership.

OP, welcome to eBid. It will be good for eBid to have commercial business operations like yourself on this site.
Nobody here is trying to bash fleeBay. The suggestion put forward is that we should not have to debate the merits of an idea based on anything fleeBay has done in the past. Invoking fleeBay into the discussion brings extra baggage, and it's no secret that certain members of eBid would like nothing more than to try to turn eBid into another fleeBay minus the high fees at the other site. There are reasons why the fees are so high at the other place. Escaping high seller fees is a good reason to join eBid, but a seller with realistic expectations of succeeding here should at least realize that eBid does not have all the same bells and whistles. In fact, because eBid charges so little in fees, I would at least try to use the existing system of selling before trying to persuade other users that changes need to be made. If I was paying high fees like at eBay, then I would want the venue to be much more responsive to my needs. In other words, I would want to make an expensive auction site earn the money they generate from my sales.

I am a proud user of eBid and fleeBay.

Referring to the highlighted section above, exactly which sellers have actually expressed that.
