    HYPOCRISY !!
I see no hypocrisy at all. If listings that go against eBid policy are reported they are removed. All auction sites rely on members reporting items that are not allowed - if they didn't and had to check every item themselves before allowing it to post you'd be waiting several weeks for your items to be searchable. Do you report suspect listings?

If you really must continue with these allegations, please at least provide some links to the offending items.

Like Gothicina, I actually did a search for these items before posting this and, like her, I found mainly books, car parts and prints. Yes, I did find a few film prop replicas but none of these had sharpened blades and for most of them the seller is suspended. I certainly couldn't find any 'tang ground' items.

What happened to the OP's thread yesterday where Gazza asked for your ticket number regarding your complaints? I see it is gone now.

I think I might have the answer to Madhatter's problem with seeing things here that no-one else does.

I bought the contents of his mind in the YDC

Maybe he is sitting in front of his PC and his mind is in my son's room...(son collects swords and daggers)

It would seem by the tone of a small few that by pointing out these indiscretions that I am some sort of rebel or moaner ,well this is not the case all I want to do is sell my products that I invested hard earned money in too ( before any ban was made I might add) and am now being prevented in doing so by rules that are restrictive at the least -but if the rules are the rules I have no choice , as long as others do the same irrespective of the title given to the product.
as for reporting listings that contravene these rules I see no easy way of doing it on this site ( please enlighten me if I am wrong) bearing in mind I have other things in life to do other than policing somebody else's site .As for giving links to the offending auctions it would seem they have been removed now but take it from me I have no reason to make these things up .

The post has been removed , and not at my request BUT Mark has now replied to the questions and hopefully support will resolve the problems as long as I don't use the proper contact form on the help pages as it seems that my requests do not get through there !

Interesting, Derrick! Military surplus has always been very popular over here. You can find quite a bit of neat stuff.

I had a friend who bought an M3 Field Range but didn't know what it was until I showed him how to use it. It came it handy during the hurricanes of '04.

Sorry! I'll now return you to your local program already in progress.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this quote I have a bit of an issue with.
"All auction sites rely on members reporting items that are not allowed - if they didn't and had to check every item themselves..."

While it is true that online auction sites do, indeed, rely on a system of reporting violations by members, that doesn't relieve anyone from preforming with "due diligence" as required by most legal systems.
