I am not a computer guru so thankfully I'm OK. Just listed a new item to 'test the water' and it was superfast!! I am with BT as my ISP. Havent read any threads with BT customers having probs. Maybe we are the lucky ones.
I do commiserate with you guys who are having probs though.

I haven't listed anything yet (I'll do that when I get home, assuming I can access the main site), but the forums aren't running any faster for me, still transferring data like an arthritic snail - to the point where the images are appearing one at a time, which is worse than it was before.
It's not my connection either, just done a speed test on it - 1.7Mbit.
I sort of envy those of you who have had no problems with this. Sigh.
It does say in the thread about the move http://meetup.ebid.net/showthread.ph...18#post1021218 that it may take some time for ISPs to update their DNS servers, though it shouldn't take more than 48 hours at most. This is not a fault and is outside of eBid's control, it just requires patience.
You may also need to go to www.ebid.net and navigate in to your usual place (My eBid etc) and make new bookmarks of them. I had to do this and put my username and password in again, then it worked fine.

I didn’t have any site issues the other day while everyone else seemed to, but then I did encounter issues yesterday after it was all said an’ done. I spent some time clearing the ol’ cache (and threw in some disk cleanup for good measure), then she was good-to-go. Perhaps you could just try clearing your cache – deleting your Temporary Internet Files. Starting fresh and new - Might do the trick.

I just added 17 listings. Total time, including uploading the photos first, took about ten minutes. Absolutely a record! Well worth the glitches (which were fixed after being reported). Thank you, gentlemen.
It's unfortunate some of you are still having problems. It appears in most cases it was caused by ISPs that don't update their systems as often as we might expect. I am lucky to be on AT&T, which apparently keeps things current.
