1 Pound No Reserve Promotion between now and Christmas

I listed a new one... how's that for a 1NR? It isn't quite another Nintendo DS but I reckon it's a bargain and if it ends up selling for £1, I may as well shape up and ship out. I haven't had a chance to go and look at everything that's available, so am not yet too sure what the fuss is about. Be right back as soon as I have found out what's going on in the 1NR.

It's only running for a week and once it's gone, it's gone. To be honest, I'll be sick if it doesn't get bids. If there are 1500 to 2000 people signing up to this site a week then where are they? That's why I think we need a front page button for top bargains like the 1NR

To summarise from the discussions that we've had - would these conditions be suitable?

• Item must be 'attractive' to Christmas bargain hunters and worth more than £1 - £1 must be seen to be an absolute bargain.
• Start price of £1 (99p allowed) and no reserve (can do $1 1 Euro etc) with 1NR in title
• BIN allowed only if £5.00 or above
• No auto repost allowed - we want people to keep coming back to see the new stuff, not just reposts of what didn't sell - you can repost, but think before you do about why it didn't sell the first time.
• Try and time the auction ends so they finish on different days - we want to get a mix of different types of items from different sellers on each page
• All items to finish in time for Christmas posting

Just discovered this thread, and it's a long one (haven't read it all), came to this post and realised that having added '1NR' to a lot of my auctions, I shouldn't have.

/me wanders off to edit a bunch of auctions to remove the '1NR' wishing there were an easier way...
