Couldn't the 'someone' be female and have her chest waxed whilst wearing an ebid logo t-shirt?

That would make for a very interesting experiment! (And probably good TV!) LOL!

Surely you cannot expect us ardent eBid supporters to turn a blind eye to the best buys available at the time? I save a fortune on presents when there's a joint promotion! LOL How about if we just all told our friends/family when these events were taking place and then it's their tough luck if they forget or miss the 'opporchancity' of winning the bargains? Everyone else will hear about it when they get their pressies wrapped up with eBid tape.

Going back to the marketing challenge, how about offering free £2.00 vouchers to spend on anything at Ebid - limited to new sign ups and one per household? £2000 divided by 2 is 1000 new sign-ups. Would it work?

That's a good idea, although I think they should send a 'goody bag' of merchandise to all new seller+ members anyway.

I like this idea a lot. it's a tried and tested promotional method elsewhere, and easy to set up all ebid need to do is enter an extra box in the aal for buyers to enter a promotional code. It will generate sales and benefit both the buyer and the seller.

I like this idea too, because I know that it works from doing similar elsewhere, as do competitions and most things associated with the word 'FREE'.

What's the difference in sign-up rates when comparing standard price sign-ups with half price and special free offers, I wonder? For that matter, can anyone supply any comparisons for past sales when we have been running the challenges and promotions?

I think it's already been mentioned in other posts, but I for one would REALLY like to be able to BUY the ebid car stickers!
These have to be a really cheap form of advertising, & it's not really encouraging new members, who don't have any points.
A simple idea would just be able to order them, however many you want, & have the cost added to your ebid account. No fuss, no fees etc.

Apologies if this has been said elsewhere & i've missed the replies.
