Hello everyone. I was wondering if when you put an item on and then it show so many views. Then a few days later it shows 0 views on that item.
Am I doing something wrong. It has 0 on a few of my items, don't understand it. Thanks in advance.

my listings apart from 1 have reverted to 0 views happened last night, i dont know the reason why,

The views count has always been unreliable, I don't take any notice of them.

I'm in the same boat and I don't think either of us is doing anything wrong. I don't understand it either.

The glass half full attitude would be that even accurate viewing numbers wouldn't tell you much, so the site implementers are focussing their effort where it's more important!

Actually, an accurate count of viewers of a listing could tell if the listing was attracting people to it whether or not they are qualified buyers is, of course, another matter. However, not having any way to tell if the listing is getting any hits at all leaves one without any information at all.

When it comes to what the management of eBid is focusing its attention on, it would help to know precisely what that is.

I admit that seeing view numbers gives me hope, even if those view numbers probably don't mean a thing.



Just because someone looks at a listing, it doesn't mean that they will buy the item. Same as watchers. People watch a listing for various reasons.
