    Default kamikaze Sales part 2

We've decided to do individual (1p auction) seller threads to keep it tidy, as apposed to one big thread.

Just a heads up (before 'you know who' throws another tantrum and reports my thread as per usual)

I would still like the Iphone 6 Plus if the Ferrero Rochers is stretching it.

    Two questions.

    a) How do you know that your thread was actually reported by an eBid member?

    b) And if that was the case how do you actually know for certain who reported it?

You still don't have any listings. Not even to the UK. Have you ever had any listings? No "About Me" page? What are you going to list for 1p?

People often don't leave feedback, alas. Less frequent on feeBay these days too, I find.

Why is this thread 'part 2'? Was there a 'part 1'?

From what I gather, the part 1 thread got removed for some reason.

Frankly, I still don't see how running penny auctions would be of help in drawing qualified buyers to the site. I would be afraid that it would give the site the reputation of a bargain basement.

The OP is encouraging sellers to list 1p starting auctions. He is suggesting that this will be a useful promotion for eBid. However, he just posts here - he neither buys nor sells so, imho, he has not earned the right to be taken seriously about eBid matters.

If deleted by eBid, then likely for the reason you raised; the thread had links to individual listings outside of the Plugs forum - in breach of the forum rules.

One party did remove their link once they were made aware but last I saw others had not.

I didn't report it, but if anyone did they were justified to.

While I did bring the issue up in the thread, I never reported it. Of course, I've had threads apparently pulled, but never notified why they were pulled. Frankly, I thought the originator of the thread should be advised of why the thread was removed, but I suppose eBid doesn't feel the same way.
