Buyer Protection Advice Please

Hi

I've looked all over the ebid help pages but I can't find a link to Ebids 'buyer protection' policies. I've found plenty of forum threads talking about the protection that ebid offer but no actual link to an official ebid document on this. Can anyone help me?

I would click the help button at the top right of any page. Look on the Left, for BUYING/.............the look at
17) Consumer Rights and Business Seller Responsibilities

As far as I know, eBid is a venue, and buyers are buying from individual sellers, not eBid. You can always open a support ticket, via the same help button, and ask support if this, or someone else doesn't answer your question.

Thanks - I was thinking more along the lines of dare I say it the bay's style program, I wanted to add a bit about protection to reassure buyers (other than the other DSR stuff). I guess if they pay via paypal they have protection there, and also via credit card payments. It was more for me as a seller to state to a buyer what protection they have.

eBay doesn't offer buyer protection, it is PayPal that does that - which is why the lauded protection only applies if the buyer pays by PayPal. All eBay does is deny the seller their rights under law.

Buyers have the same legal rights wherever they buy and however they pay.

A seller may offer additional rights beyond the legal requirements if they wish. If they do then they have to honour them as they become a part of the contract between buyer and seller.
