Missing Forum Posts

Posts and whole threads have been disappearing left, right and centre of late. Unless you are talking about kittens and fluffy bunnies, doing eBid's support role for them, or praising eBid to the heavens, the forums are pretty much a waste of time.

Surprise, Surprise! Opinions not share by management or the majority seem to wander off into the nether lands never to be seen or heard from again. Almost sounds like a plot for a spy thriller or something.

i have seen deleted threads and also deleted posts.
but i think there should be deleted posts but not deleted threads entirely.

I have notice to that lots of threads have been deleted of late and had come to the same conclusion as others that have posted on this thread.
I private messaged one forum member to ask what had happened to his thread and got a short shift answer hinting that maybe I had reported it.
I would like to state here in public on the forum that I have only deleted one thread in my whole time here and that thread was mine and I deleted it before it turn in to an argument with one other forum member. I also have never reported any posts or threads on this forum or any other either.

"Threads on the forums are deleted for numerous reasons. We monitor threads ourselves and other users are able to report threads.

We cannot give you a specific reason for the deletion I'm afraid but it would not have been automated."i asked 4 times before i got this reply.

Have you noticed that the thread deletions have stopped since sidthelamp put up a Holiday Notice? Coincidence?

ive stated before pal i will report anything that i think needs reporting like it or lump it thats the way it is yep i did put up the holiday notice it does not mean i was not reading the forums.not only will i read the forums when im away il take the trouble to log in too just for you baby

Well…in that case and in my opinion if someone report threads because he think that thread will do damage to eBid or thread is negative toward eBid or just don’t like it that thread….
Well…in that case all threads with ‘’unrealistic’’ writing around should be reported too, because these threads will do more damage to eBid….AMEN…….

Well, I'm not overly bothered that the posts disappeared...I was just a tad confused when I went to see the updates and all my forum input from those dates had gone. I thank you all for your responses, and I am going to close the thread now before another argument ensues and the thread gets deleted completely !
