    One last try and then I give up.

    It is up to eBid (not the user) to send the correct values for items in their feed to Google. To do that they must know what values to send. They have stated that they need to see EXEMPT placed in the UPI field of an eBid listing that has no UPI in order for them to know the correct value to send to Google.

    So if Google needs to be fed false in that field to indicate there is no UPI, eBid needs to see EXEMPT entered into the field (i.e. eBid sees EXEMPT...eBid sends false to Google).

    So what is entered in the UPI field of an eBid listing matters to nobody else but eBid.

    About 600 of the listings in our main store are showing up this morning. In addition, we sold items to two new buyers. It looks as though this is slowly being sorted out.

    Now I have to figure out how to add the word "EXEMPT" to a few thousand listings. It looks as though I'll have to do them manually, one at a time.

    Does anyone know if eBid is still setting the EXEMPT flag for items that previously had exemptions? If so you have to do nothing at present.

    You could do a form of Bulk Edit by exporting your listings, setting the relevant UPI fields to EXEMPT in either the spreadsheet or Ninja Lister, and then uploading back to eBid with the 'overwrite' option set. This would possibly mess up your start/finish times though.

    As far as I know they will add it when the items are relisted. So if you have items that are RUS or still have a long time before they will be relisted you will possibly lose a lot of exposure on Google Shopping unless you sort them yourself.

    People in this situation could try ending a listing and then reposting to make sure this is being done. They can then end and repost all of the other listings which would be quicker than working through them individually.

    Had a response from support and I am now in the process of getting some more evidence, but I need my listings to reappear for both sides of the story. Not been too bad for them showing during the day, but as usual they are all gone in the evening when they are more likely to be needed.

    does the word "exempt" need to be put into every listing?

    and i was also in the process of putting up more listings,but there does not seem any point if the listings are not showing up!!

    I would put the listings up. They are showing at least some of the time, mine have appeared most of the day and I managed 3 sales while that was the case.

    Put the information in if you have it, if you have no barcode then put in the brand and EXEMPT in the barcode box.

    I am trying to add 'EXEMPT' to as many of my listings as I can, that do not have a barcode.
    What a dreadfully boring and time consuming practice that should NOT be necessary, if this had been addressed sooner.

    Q) WHY can't we add 'exempt' to barcode in bulk edit?
    A) Because it isn't there - only brand and SKU.

    Try ending a listing then reposting. A new listing should have the EXEMPT added for you. If it does you should then be able to use bulk edit to end your listings in Bulk Edit then repost them en masse or spreading them out every 30mins or whatever you want.
