We will keep looking, but as Sherlock mentioned many libraries offer books for sale at a very low cost. Have you checked the library near you?
I do have a copy of the "Iliad." Unfortunately, it's in greek. But most of what is on your list may be available at the local public library. I'm not sure about Palm Harbor, but here in Orange County you can order the books you want and they will deliver them to your door when they become available if all the copies are checked out. Library cards are free and every student should have one anyway. (Sister-In-Law is a retired librarian, can't ya tell?)
Of course, purchasing a copy for one's own collection is good too.

I have always liked my boys to have their own copy of the books they read. In my thinking they will take more ownership in the book and what they are reading. I do not know if that is true, but it makes sense to me.
