Default Looks like Dark Times for the Dark horse Star Wars Comics

Looks Like Marvel could be taking this off Dark Horse like the big kid taking the little kids lunch money.

Yes, the future does look bleak for Star Wars comics now. All we have to do is look with happened to the Disney properties that Boom Comics so wonderfully revived. Marvel is doing far less with them than Boom. I know there is the Disney Pixar Presents line, but I am not aware of anything being done or being planned with the classic Disney characters.

We will have to see what happens but i have a feeling that marvel will scub all of the last 20 years worth of work to start again. I just hope there isn't a title called jar jar bins the comic or something along the lines or i will not be happy lol
We will have to now wait and see if the price of the Dark Horse book now rises with this hmmm may have to go hunting for some bargains now before the price his the roof.

Somewhat related to the effect of Disney buying Lucasfilms on comics, is the effect it could have on television. Since Marvel was bought, we have seen more Marvel programming on Disney XD, a direct attempt to compete more against the DC Comics programming on Cartoon Network and Boomerang by Warner.

Star Wars was vauable proigramming on Cartoon Network. This purchase directly takes that programming away from Cartoon Network, and lends itself as another property that can be used on Disney XD.
