My name is Michael, and I created my Ebid account on May 1, 2011. Currently, I reside outside of Washington, DC, in Northern Virginia.

I am a collector of all sorts of comics, comic books, action figures, and comic art, and opened my store to be able to share my fondness of these items with others. My collection primarily consists of DC and Marvel Comics, but does include other publishers like Now, Dark Horse, Valiant, and Archie. Listings can run from the mainsteam titles like Batman to more obsure title from the 1970s. 

While I do this part time (I work as a market researcher in my "day job"), I do not take it lightly. I want the new owners of my comics and art to enjoy these comics as much as I have. Feel free to ask a question about a listing or books you are seeking that you do not see listed.  I have several long boxes to upload; it is just taking time to get there. I am open to adjusting a current lising or creating new listings as needed - split up a set, make a custom set, etc...  Over 80% of the feedback below comes to me as a seller. I'd like to build a solid reputation there, and would not have to carry over the one from the other site.

 

Shipping guidelines/comments:

• I generally ship USPS First Class Mail or Priority mail. I use these two most often to balance cost and speed of shipment. If you want to use another shipping method, please advise ahead of time.
• Additional postal services (tracking or signature confirmation) can be added for the cost found using USPS.com.
• Multiple purchases can be combined into one shipment with a shipping discount.
• 1 to 4 items will be shipped in stiff cardbord mailers (USPS First Class, USA domestic). 1-3 comics ship for $3.00; 4 comics ship for $3.50
• 5 to 20 comics will be sent in a priority mail envelope for $5.75, supported by cardboard. This is because 5 comics weigh more than the 13 oz maximum weight allowed in first class mail. (15 is an estimate based on standard size moden comics with cardboard protection. Quantity could be less based on prestige format, bookshelf sized, annuals, or other thicker than normal comics.) In most cases, using the flat rate priority mail envelope provides the best shipping value.
• 20 or more  -  please inquire. The Flat Rate Medium box is more than double the rate of the Flat Rate Envelope. I find that unless you fill the more than half way, it is not the best bet.
• To make an estimate, two items are need - the zip code (or county if in a non-USA location) and the weight. I'll provide the estimated weight, if you provide the zip code. You can double check any postage cost estimate against the USPS Postal Rate Calculator.
• Non-USA orders are accepted - please inquire. I have estimated prices in the listings based on weight and type of mail service  based on rates from USPS.com. If you see an order than says no shipping to you location, thats probably an error. Email me and I will correct the auction.

My packaging is the way I would want someone to protect and ship a comic to me. If something is not right with a shipment, please let me know, and I'll work with you to correct it. Returns are accepted; refunds provided.
