Can you please add a handling time in section two, the page where items are listed to be sold.
Thanks

I have to say I concur. People can add the information to thier item listing, but it would be useful to formalise it.
Hi darklisruthven,
From your experience here does ebid make the needed change on these suggestions or just ignore them?
I also wanted to ask you if most of your sales are in the UK & Europe? No U.S.A sales, right?
I am located in Los Angeles I've been here since 2011 haven't sold one thing yet...I realized a while back that most of the buyers are in the UK and that the shipping costs are high from my location...To bad for me!!! I want to leave eBay but I see no action here, beautiful site but that doesn't help my sales...
Thanks for your reply
I think so, it is always useful for buyers to know how long the seller is likely to take to send thier items.
Well I am based in the UK, so yes, most of my sales are UK based, but I have had successful sales to the USA, Canada, France, Namibia (!), India, South Africa, and Australia, so I think it is well worth offering worldwide. Where other people elsewhere on the forums have said if people overseas want the items badly enough they may well pay the postage, that is true.

Just a quick piece of advice from me.
The only thing i used e**y for nowadays is making sure my items on ebid are priced correctly. I checked a couple of your blue ray dics on ebay, I can get some of the ones you have for 99 cents there, so its a no brainer really.
please do not think I am trying to tell you how much you should sell your items for, thats upto you entirely. just letting you know how i price items, and give them the best chance of selling.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to put in an area to specify handling time, but I wouldn't want the eBid listing form to become too rigid as to lose the flexibility to accommodate the widest possible variety of selling styles. Personally, I've always found the best report form to be a blank page with the author free to put in the details in their own words.
With regard to eBid actually adopting suggestions, I suppose it is a matter of whether or not they deem the issue as being something that would be of benefit to the site as a whole. Frankly, there are quite a few issues that I would like to be addressed, but I realize that there are different points of view that must be considered. All things, which when taken at face value appear to be good ideas, do not always stand up to closer examination and sometimes a devil's advocate is needed.
