As I said up there ^ some of us have said we think global would be good, others may not feel the same way. If I said "ooh, something lunar would be great" that wouldn't make it a rule. People are entirely free to nominate what they like, why they like. Vonz has said there's going to be a poll of the nominated charities at the end of this process.
This Gill has now got the other Gill's headache.
I too thought it was to be a thread about nominating one charity and the poll or discussions about which charity would chosen for the nominated charity would be later.
A small worry: I am a little concerned that these discussions may (only may) affect the next YDCs 98 and 99 which are equally important IMHO.
It is. I can't see any reason for thinking otherwise. What is it that's causing this confusion? Vonz has always been crystal clear, I thought.
Still plenty of days to go, but I for one have spent time today planning what I'm going to list for Janet's Trust.A small worry: I am a little concerned that these discussions may (only may) affect the next YDCs 98 and 99 which are equally important IMHO.
Lovely, thanks Kim.
Quite!
My head is spinning at the very thought of all the various processes we still need to go through.
Could everyone please help me out here - and keep the thread reasonably on task. Ta muchly!
I kind of hope the opposite may be true, and the "publicity" fallout from YDC100 will attract even more folk to YDC in general.
