I might just contemplate a move back to Florida in the next few years, although I really love where we live now in rural Suffolk -
Decisions, decisions .... I also love Spain, and a greenhouse wouldn't look too amiss amongst the grape vines and orange and lemon trees ... fire extinguishers would be available in several locations ... due to the ermm (cough) .. heat!

Ooh, sounds good! Warm and sunny here today though I don't get out as much as I do in NY, wish I were there near the river. You're soooooo lucky to live in a lovely rural area, someday I hope to do just that, away from people and noise.

All of the teddy bears are now inventoried and cataloged. Only took 12 hours (2 days @ 6 hours) we also wrote down item #'s and UPC codes. I had a few with no UPC codes. Get ready for an influx of bears and other stuffed things. Beautiful day today.

Aw Wyo, I'm sorry to hear about the possum, they're such cool animals. There is one that used to come up the stairs and eat out of my catfood dishes every few nights, made me laugh when I first saw him but then I got used to him. Bf has one that lives in the woods near his house, one evening he was on his porch having a beer and he reached out absently to pet what he thought was one of his many cats, only to discover he was petting the possum, who actually continued to eat and seemed to enjoy the rub according to bf.

Excited today, planning on going to the local animal shelter this afternoon as they have a bulldog at the shelter which is the dog my Dad has been looking for. If the dog is still there, I'm going to get him and bring him back here til I go to Dad's again, wish me luck.

All excited, just adopted a new doggy, a white American bulldog currently named Harley, shortly to be renamed Winston after my favorite British bulldog. Shelter is having him fixed Monday, will pick him up from the vet's then.
